VLC Media Player from VideoLAN was compressed and packaged using an installer (NSIS). This package includes additional software, which does not need to be used. If you do not want to install the additional software, choose "Custom installation" during installation and uncheck all components that should not be installed.

The software is executed at the user's own risk. Any liability by the provider is completed excluded. The software itself is free. The software will make changes to your PC. In particular, your browser's homepage will be changed, symbols will be stored/changed on your desktop and an updated will be installed. The updater can install additional and change existing software.
